The King & Queen of Belgian Waffles

Imagine being served by a real King or Queen! And what’s more, by turning mechanical levers, you can decide exactly how your freshly baked Brussels waffle looks (with or without Belgian-coloured toppings, icing sugar or whipped cream).

Well, that’s exactly what happens with Geert Hautekiet’s latest art installation.

Just to be clear: it’s not a food truck ;-), but we can certainly serve up a fair number of waffles. However, the real highlight is the stunning animation of an artistic installation built entirely from recycled wood, polished second-hand copper and a great sense of humour.
